TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the parties' discovery-dispute letters. See D.E.s 103 & 104 . It is apparent from the substance and tone of the letters that the parties have not adequately met and conferred in an attempt to informally resolve the discovery disputes. Accordingly, the parties are directed to renew those efforts immediately. On or before June 24, 2024, the parties shall file a JOINT submission that addresses each dispute in its own section. The first part of the section will provide a short, non-argumentative statement of the item in dispute. Next, in part 2 of that section, the party seeking relief will set forth what it wants and the basis (limited to 2 double-spaced pages). In part 3, the party opposing the request shall set forth its position (limited to 2 double-spaced pages). The parties shall employ this structure for each item that remains in dispute following their meet and confer. The parties shall employ this joint letter protocol for all discovery disputes brought to the Court's attention. The parties are further advised that if the Court is dissatisfied with their progress, trial counsel will be required to appear in the Courtroom of the Undersigned to meet-and-confer in person on July 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the earlier of: (1) complete resolution of all discovery disputes, or (2) 4:00 p.m. when, if the Court's schedule permits, it will address any remaining issue with counsel. TEXT ORDER: The Court has reviewed the parties' August 26, 2024 joint discovery dispute letter [D.E. 128]. The Court is not satisfied that the parties have exhausted their meet-and-confer efforts, and finds that further such efforts may benefit the parties and Court by narrowing the myriad disputes down. That conclusion draws, in part, from the fact that well over twenty RFPs remain in dispute, as well numerous interrogatories. Further, the parties had previously advised the Court they believed they had made progress in their meet-and-confer efforts. However, the joint letter does not reflect much progress.
