Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Alan D Albright: Case called for telephonic discovery hearing. There are issues getting discovery regarding the defendant's and their China partners and it is very difficult to get any information from China. The defendant states that they do not have any of the documents requested by plaintiff. The Court will allow the plaintiff to take 30B6 deposition for a 1 hour time limit which can be by zoom in which the counsel for plaintiff can go through the list with to verify that the defendant has been truthful. If the plaintiff discovers anything during the deposition that leads him to believe that the defendant has some discovery then the plaintiff should contact the Court asap. The Court would like the deposition to happen as soon as possible hopefully a week from today. If there is nothing then another hearing needs to be held regarding relationships with China.
