Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Alan D Albright: Telephone Conference held on 10/21/2020. Case called for Scheduling Conference. Parties announce ready. First issue raised relates to arguments made from plaintiff regarding defendants discovery requests for excessive parties (beyond the assignees and inventors) including as prosecuting name and names that appear in the chain of title. Arguments also made with regard to discovery starting after the Markman. Court encourages parties to work together to find a plan that is agreeable to both parties parties agree that they should be able to. Judge directs them to meet and confer about it and will reset a hearing for them if they cant. Parties then discuss the Amended Complaint confer about it and will reset a hearing for them if they cant. Parties then discuss the Amended Complaint Dismiss (1 in each of the 12 cases). The court puts the burden on Mr. Shelton to let the court know when the motions are ripe and the court will do its best to set a hearing within a couple of weeks of the notification. The pending Motions to Dismiss are moot but without prejudice to the refling of motions based on the newly filed Amended Complaint.
